Campus Movie Fest
CMF is the world's largest student film festival, and donates all equipment to the Rosarito Film Festival. Students throughout Mexico are provided an Apple laptop, a high definition camera, and all the technical support needed to create a short film in one week.

Emerson College
Dr. J. Gregory Payne began a partnership with the Rosarito Beach Hotel through the RediscoveRosarito project. It began with his graduate and undergraduate students from a Crisis and Public Affairs classes at Emerson College with the mission to convey an accurate picture of this tourist city and dispelling misleading U.S. media reports. The academic collaboration has also included professors and students from Harvard University, Salem State, Lake Eerie College in Ohio, Elmyra College in New York, as well as Universitat de Barcelona and Raymond Lull University (Blanquerna), as well as input from universities in Chile, Iceland, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia.

The LA Program
The LA Program, started by Janice Payne, provides undergraduate or graduate coursework in areas including: media, public relations, marketing, advertising, corporate/business communication, political communication, film and TV. Past students have worked with the Rosarito Film Festival. Students experience firsthand the culture and landmarks of Los Angeles while experiencing the environment and participating in forums and meetings with experienced academics and professionals in the industry.
